NameBass Point
DescriptionNamed by Matthew Flinders in honour of George Bass. The two men explored the south coast of NSW. Flinders described the point as a long, sloping, projection which I have called Pt. Bass. (Place Names of NSW, Reed, 1969).
A locality immediately to the west of and including the point named Bass Point.
