NamePearson, (William Branch)DescriptionWilliam Pearson was born in Suffolk in 1830 to Robert and Ann Pearson.

When he was 29 years old in 1859, he and his wife
Mary Ann (nee Bold) arrived in Australia per 'Wellington'. William's parents, Robert and Anne, arrived aboard the same ship. According to the passenger list for the ship, William had a step brother, Robert living at Dapto.

Sadly Mary Ann died just 12 months after they arrived, in 1860, and was buried at St Luke's Church of England Cemetery in Brownsville.

In 1863 William Married Susannah Adelaide Dawes. They had five children; Alice, Mabel, Godfrey, Melmoth and Elizabeth.

Alice married Richard Ball of 'Wattle Grove' Albion Park. Godfrey married Elizabeth Smith. Melmoth married Matilda Dawes and Mabel married George Gear. Elizabeth died in 1888 when she was just 19 years old.

Descendants of the William and Susannah include members of the Ball, Smith, Dawes, Bonser, and Boles families.
